The research question at which the present article attempts to answer is: What are the British journalistic procedures used in representing migration and crime in the specific case of Romanian migrants? The article uses quantitative content analysis as the main method of research. The sample of texts was made up of 117 articles published in two (tabloid) British newspapers (the Daily Mail and the Daily Mirror) in the time-period January 1–December 21, 2015. This article presents a meter for the quantitative analysis of newspaper sport material. The meter makes it possible to measure and classify newspaper sport material in detail. The meter has three levels. The selected level depends on the research purpose and desired measurement accuracy. Measurement can focus on a certain level, or all levels can be used together. Individual variables can also be utilized at a certain level. The national Finnish Schools on the Move programme support schools with their individual plans to promote school-based physical activity (PA). We examined the changes in adolescents’ recess and overall PA in four lower secondary schools and described the school actions to promote students’ PA and the local contact persons’ perceptions of the effects. Recess and overall PA were assessed four times by anonymous questionnaires from students in grades 7–9 (n = 789) in 2010–12, and local contact persons (n = 7) provided information on school actions with diaries, interviews and surveys. Poliitikkojen väitetään vaikenevan taiteesta ja kulttuurista. Suurimmalla osasta puolueista on silti tarve sanallistaa suhdettaan taiteeseen ja kulttuuriin sekä niiden edistämiseen. Tutkimusaineistoni koostuu viimeisen kuudenkymmenen vuoden aikana toimineen 48 puolueen 1270 poliittisesta ohjelmasta. Vuosina 1960–2019 toimivista ja vuodesta 1969 lähtien rekisteröityjen puolueiden ohjelmista yhteensä 579:stä löytyy taide- ja kulttuurikirjauksia.
